1. Privacy & Data Protection

At GAPCD, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our members, students, and website visitors. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data in compliance with international GDPR and local data protection regulations.

Data Collection

  • Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, and academic qualifications provided during registration.
  • Payment Data: Financial transaction records (processed securely via encrypted gateways).
  • Usage Data: Information on how you access our courses and resources to improve user experience.
GAPCD does not sell, trade, or rent users' personal identification information to third parties.

2. Terms of Use

By accessing the GAPCD website, portal, or physical facilities, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms apply to all members, students, and visitors.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, logos, trademarks (including GAPCD Blue & Green identifiers), and publications are the intellectual property of GAPCD. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

Membership Validity

Membership and certification statuses are valid only upon full payment of dues and adherence to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

3. Code of Ethics & Conduct

As a peacebuilding institute, we hold our community to the highest moral standards. All members (Students, Fellows, and Ambassadors) must adhere to:

  • Impartiality: Acting without bias in conflict mediation processes.
  • Integrity: Upholding honesty in academic submissions and professional reporting.
  • Non-Discrimination: Promoting inclusivity regardless of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.

Violation of these codes may result in the revocation of membership or ambassadorship titles.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

GAPCD maintains a strict financial policy regarding tuition and membership fees.

  • Application Fees: Non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • Tuition Fees: 50% refundable if withdrawal occurs within 7 days of payment. No refunds after coursework has commenced.
  • Event Registration: Cancellations made 72 hours before the event may qualify for a credit note for future events.

5. Academic Integrity Policy

Plagiarism, falsification of data, and cheating are strictly prohibited. All research papers, thesis projects, and assessment submissions are vetted through plagiarism detection software.

Consequences include failure of the module, suspension, or expulsion from the Academy depending on the severity of the infraction.
